THE PROJECT

THE ALLURE OF THE GOLDEN SCREEN AND THE OWNER´S SINGULAR VISION FOR CASA BLANCA 7 INSPIRED A MARRIAGE BETWEEN MEXICO AND MOROCCO: SPANISH COLONIAL AND MOORISH STYLES ENTWINED AS PERFECTLY AS BOUGAINVILLEA OVER AN ANDALUSION ARCH.

The 300-year-old, landmark, San Miguel estate was transformed from ruin to refuge housing a sumptuously appointed, small hotel. An urban oasis in the grand manner realized by an extraordinary team of renowned architects, notable designers, and a pair of culinary magicians conjuring Mediterranean fare. Beautifully orchestrated with timeless echoes of ancient cultures woven into a stunning contemporary design. Music from the courtyard fountain, patterned shadows in the loggia, iron, stone, bronze, luxuriously embroidered textiles– beauty in the details.

THE HOTEL

THE AGE OF ELEGANCE RECALLED: EXOTIC DESTINATION, A RUSTLING PALM TREE, ROMANTIC, CANDLELIGHT DINNERS UNDER THE STARS.

A past recaptured and transformed– exceeding the international standards and expectations of our most discerning clients with sumptuous comforts and contemporary flair. Six, extraordinary guest-suites in a small luxury hotel unlike any other set within a grand, three-century-old residence in the heart of the historic, Spanish Colonial Center of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Imagine moonlit evenings in Morocco and decorative hints of Moorish Spain like faint strains of music from Andalucía woven into an elemental beauty: Berber carpets, embroidered fabrics, fine inlaid furniture, Islamic inspired tiles, reflections in a mirror from Marrakech, and your innermost dreams.

CHEF DONNIE MASTERTON IS A STAR IN SAN MIGUEL´S CULINARY FIRMAMENT WITH A CONSTELLATION OF SUCCESSFUL RESTAURANTS.

Fatima 7 and Café Casa Blanca are sparkling additions to his gastronomic galaxy with brilliant accompaniment from chef Armando Maes. Masterton achieved culinary gravitas by way of NY, LA and San Francisco orbiting luminaries like Wolfgang Puck, Alice Waters and a host of other worldly influence across seven continents. Both chefs’ passion for Mediterranean cuisine pairs perfectly with Casa Blanca’s Mudéjar style.
